PURPOSE OF THE UNITED METHODIST WOMEN:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Jefferson Street UMC hosts two "circles" of United Methodist Women:
RUTH CIRCLE meets every 2nd Monday at 6PM
MARGARET AMACKER CIRCLE meets every Wednesday at 11:30AM
The General Meetings are held throughout the year, and all enjoy guest speakers and luncheons.
